T2. Multispectral perfection, only further! While simultaneously maintaining the absolute colour finesse of Robe’s phenomenally successful T1 series, featuring the MSL™ (Multi-Spectral) LED engine, our T2 Fresnel™ provides an enhanced output of more than 15.000 lumens from its 850W MSL™ source.

With their zoom range of 7-62°, and classically soft beam, T2 Fresnels are ideally suited to their long-throw role in theatre, television, and touring.

T2 Fresnels are full of theatrical subtlety. With CMY colour control, DataSwatch™ filters containing a selection of pre-programmed colours via our renowned RCC™ (Robe Colour Calibration) algorithm and a wide-ranging 2.700K to 8.000K CCT control, all variations of colour are possible. With absolutely no variation in colour produced by T1 and T2 platforms, you can use them together with confidence to provide consistent colour across your lighting rig, perfect for even the most demanding designers.

The precise needs of theatrical dimming are catered to with our super-smooth L3™ dimming system producing imperceptible fades to black. The exceptionally high CRI of 95+ assures natural rendition of all skin tones.

Specifically, for television work, we have included a plus and minus green channel and the Cpulse™ flicker-free management system for all vision systems including HD and UHD cameras, all controllable directly from your console.

Designed to operate in noise-sensitive environments such as television studios, theatres, and houses of worship, T2 Fresnels utilise our innovative AirLOC™ system. Meaning "Less Optical Cleaning," this technology not only aids noise reduction but also dramatically reduces the level of airborne particles drawn over the optics, keeping them in pristine condition for far longer.

All this combined with our highly acclaimed internal four individually controlled leaf barndoor system, rotational scrim control, two interchangeable frosts and ground-breaking edge control technology, gives you total control over your designs in theatre, television, and touring.

Cpulse™ - Pulse Width Modulation Control

Cpulse™ is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control system for luminaires that allows you to select and fine-tune the LED driving frequency to ensure no flicker will be visible on any camera system.

DataSwatch™ - inbuilt virtual colour library

The DataSwatch™ inbuilt virtual colour library for Robe LED fixtures consists of up to 237 pre-programmed and calibrated colours and tones, allowing for rapid and accurate programming.

MSL™ - Multi Spectral Light Source

Robe's MSL™ (Multi-Spectral Light) LED light engines are, specifically, designed to consistently deliver the highest quality light through the additive colour mixing method. The MSL spreads the emitted light equally throughout the Planck curve, thereby providing the widest possible colour gamut, while simultaneously delivering seamless full range CCT control.

RotaScrim™- Graduated Scrim Control

Found in our wash lights, our RotaScrim™ control feature gives you the ability to remove those distracting “hot spots” from the beam where the distance of the illuminated surface is closer to the fixture. By applying the graduated scrim filter, this can easily be removed and changed into an even flat field.

4Door™ - Internal Barndoors

Robe barndoors operate the same way as a conventional 4 leaf barndoor. The quick, accurate internal 4Door™ barndoor system provides individual position control of the 4 “leafs” and +/- 90° rotation of the complete module assembly.

Edge Colour Correction

The edge colour correction sets Robe wash moving heads aside from other fixtures by providing the ability to shift the edge of the beam to either the red or blue end. This feature allows more or less definition of the internal barn doors cut, as you alter the beam.

EMS™ - Electronic Motion Stabiliser

The Robe Electronic Motion Stabiliser is a technology for exact Pan and Tilt movements and reduces vibrations from audio outputs, truss movement and sprung or suspended floors.

L3™ - Low Light Linearity System

The L3™ Low Light Linearity System produces imperceptible, ultra-smooth fades to black.

REAP™ - Robe Ethernet Access Portal

The Robe Ethernet Access Portal allows to access internal data from a networked fixture, viewed as a web page, addressable via the fixtures network IP.

GDTF – General Device Type Format

The General Device Type Format creates a unified definition for exchange of data for the operation of intelligent luminaries, such as moving lights. The file format is human readable and developed using open source formats.

Tungsten Emulation

When selected, the luminaire will mimic the colour temperature of a tungsten lamp as you lower the output to produce that classic warm glow.

QVGA Robe Touch Screen Display System

The QVGA Robe touch screen display gives full access to all fixture setup and diagnostic functions and is very intuitive to navigate.

+ - Green Correction

Robe has included a dedicated +/- green control channel in fixtures that feature our MSL™ specific white TE™ source fixtures. This allows you to make the smallest changes of green content compared to the fixed levels produced by the specific filters on white source fixtures.

airLOC™

Our AirLOC™ (Less Optical Cleaning) technology greatly reduces the level of airborne particles drawn over the optical elements.

Epass™

Robe lighting’s Epass™ provides Ethernet in/out connections with a pass-through switch that sustains Ethernet integrity when the fixture has no power to automatically maintain network connectivity.

MAPS™ - Motionless Absolute Positioning System

Pre-use pan and tilt calibration movement of a fixture can be distracting and sometimes difficult to achieve.

The impressive façade of the Theatre Royal de la Monnaie de Munt (Royal Theatre of the Mint) in central Brussels dates to 1818 and announces The National Opera of Belgium in great style and presence. Belgium’s leading opera house is a federal funded institution taking the name of this theatre in which it is housed – ‘La Monnaie’ in French or ‘De Munt’ in Dutch – referring both to the building and the opera company itself.
